The pattern is set at the factory with steam, heat and pressure. No chemicals are used to set the pattern. It loosens gradually with washing and heat. Refresh it with a rod or flexi-rod set.
Most brands leave these details out. We print them on a tag tied to every bundle, so you can check exactly what you bought.
“Single donor” is one of the most common claims in hair, and almost nobody can prove it. So we don’t make it.

Steam-set hair gets its pattern from steam, heat and pressure at our factory partner in India. No chemicals are used to create the pattern. Body Wave and Kinky Straight are steam-set. Natural Straight and Natural Wave are natural textures: that’s how the hair grew.
Natural textures return to their pattern after every wash. Steam-set textures, like Body Wave, loosen gradually with washing and heat styling, the way any set wave does. You can refresh the wave with a rod or flexi-rod set. The tag on every bundle tells you which one you have. We don’t use chemicals to fake a texture, so there’s nothing to wash out.
Yes. Our 1B is virgin, so it takes color and lifts like your own hair. Our supplier rates it safe to bleach all the way to #613 blonde. Color 1 (jet black) has already been dyed, so it won’t lift as evenly. If you plan to go lighter, choose 1B. We recommend a professional colorist for any lifting.
No, and we’d rather tell you that than pretend. Temple hair is collected and sorted in lots, so each bundle comes from a small number of donors, matched for texture, color and cuticle direction so it wears as one. “Single donor” is one of the most common claims in hair, and almost no one can show you proof. We only claim what’s on the tag tied to every bundle.
After hair is collected, the short strands are pulled out. Do that once and the hair is single-drawn: it keeps a natural mix of lengths, full at the top and tapering toward the ends, like the hair on your head. Double-drawn hair is pulled twice so almost every strand is full length. That gives thicker ends, but it takes far more hair per bundle, so it costs more, and some “double-drawn” hair is cut or blended to fake the look. We sell single-drawn because it blends naturally. We don’t offer double-drawn yet, but we may in the future. Want fuller ends at 22” and longer? Add a fourth bundle.
